I [15F] have really bad period pain but my parents [37F+40M] don’t believe me.

I just want to say I'm sorry you're going through this. I had period pain from 13. First 2 days were agonising pain but because my mom never experienced it, i was lying. I would wake at night feeling awful, make it to my parents room for 'help' and pass out from the pain as i got to the door. A few months of this and one night when'coming round' i heard my dad saying 'not this again get her out of here' :( my passing out was always on night 1 of period followed by 2 days in bed, this went on for years. it was painful and affecting my job with taking time off. The nights I've spent lying on a cold bathroom floor after passing out/throwing up/agonising pain crying 'i just want to die i can't take the pain just let me die' just weren't worth it. I feel embarrassed writing that :(

Eventually age 25 i got fully investigated where i found out i had endometriosis and PCOS. This came about after starting a new job on day one of my period, collapsing at work and being taken to hospital via ambulance. Various operations and procedures, medications, diet change and i can finally say i have this under control.

Make a nuisance of yourself. Go to the doctor, find someone who can take you. You do not and should not have to suffer.

I really hope you get this sorted.
