I (17f) Am Afraid of African Men. I Don't Think This is Healthy

Sorry if my post upset you. It wasn't my intention. I also felt like people were going to say my post is fake and for attention. Its not. And I'm sorry you feel like I've done that. I wasn't trying to attack a race or anything like that but share my personal experience and why I think the way I do. White people do rape and murder. I know they do, but in my country these crimes are much more often committed by black people. That's the truth. Not a stereotype.

they don’t make her think that way about anyone but black men ?

I have personally been molested, targeted and beat by black men. I haven't been by a white person before. The news doesn't change the way I think, it reinforces the way I thought.

I grew up like that, and I'm trying to rectify it. It's a lot more than just saying "dont be racist".

If you think that's possible then you've probably never dealt with trauma, or you were lucky enough to get over it quickly.
