Timeline:

Began taking finasteride mid-April. From around months 4-6, I had significant shedding. Increased density, healthier hair was noted in October, and soon I began to see that my hairline had improved as well.

Second shed, perhaps more significant than the first, occurred around the 1 year mark. Hair became quite sparse for a while but not as bad as it is now. Everything seemed to grow back, and I had solid density again (similar to January through March) late in the summer.

September 2021 a (seemingly) third shed occurred. At the time I became a bit frustrated with the constant cycling, but I figured it would grow back. I stayed patient, probably too patient. Now I have severe thinning everywhere - sides, crown, hairline. Nothing has improved, and I have essentially no idea what to do.
