[2017-03-29] /r/keto Community Support for Wednesday 29th March 2017

This is probably my third time starting keto, but my first time being totally all-in. I've done it in the past just to lose a few pounds here and there, but now I really want to see results and make myself look and feel better. I started last Monday and I've been going strong this whole time. Up until Monday, I actually had an addiction to soda. Only ever drank soda, basically my whole life. But I haven't had a single craving for it and that makes me feel GREAT! However, I'm feeling a bit discouraged with my results. The past few times I've done keto, I've lost a whole bunch in the first week. Usually ~10 pounds. So far, in over a week, I'm down maybe 7 but my weight has stayed the same for the past few days. I know I shouldn't get frustrated about it, but I just want to be back to where I was at the end of high school (currently a graduate student). I'm going to start supplementing with regular, daily workouts and hopefully I can hit my goal weight, or come very close, in time for my long-overdue vacation in mid-May and finally feel comfortable in a bathing suit again.
