Honestly I agree with her although she should work more to help her situation. She shouldn't be paying for the majority of the bills at this point, she has covered bills for 18 years, at that point its completely fair for you to pull your weight if you're able bodied . think from her prospective the cost of living is insane now if you weren't home she would be in a smaller place paying less rent, less food bill , less utility bills . and maybe she can save for a minimal retirement if possible . she raised you ,put you though school and paid for rent and food and bills on a bigger place. she had to take care of you because as a child you cant support yourself but you are an adult now . its time to act like one . what more does she owe you her retirement?
