What about when the negative person is your mother?

What about when she's only negative because she had brain surgery that left her with memory and cognitive difficulties?

What about when her father dies, leaves her the house he built with his own hands, which her and even you were raised in, but medicaid wants to take it away as part of the state's estate recovery act? When the act is so comprehensive that the only option is for her to disclaim her entire inheritance or let the state take the house? That either way you aren't getting what would have been your inheritance simply because your grandfather didn't understand that, and made a mistake willing her the house instead of you?

What about when you realize that effectively means that you're expected to pay for her being disabled, despite having already spent your entire life paying for that? That it means she'll have to continue living in her filthy section 8 ghetto; that she'll continue to struggle to even afford food - which you end up constantly paying for, just like always - and all for her shitty medicaid which isn't even providing her good health coverage, since many doctors wont accept it anymore, and the one's who do only do the bare minimum?

Much less realizing that you're spending the time that you should be in mourning, honoring your grandfather, in legal hell? ...That's me, this past 2 weeks.
