32 Teams/32 Days: Day 1: The Tampa Bay Buccaneers

This season was much worse than when Schiano was here. We looked like absolute shit on the field all year, got embarrassingly blown out a couple of times, we look soft, could not beat teams playing their second and third string quarterbacks, etc. Anyone who says differently is drinking the kool-aid.

There were a ton of Schiano haters (as the OP has clearly placed himself in that camp) who now think that Lovie can do no wrong. Even though Lovie was just as bad or worse in every aspect than Schiano, from penalties, to drama, to bad personnel decisions, to horrendous game management, and on and on and on, it does not matter. Lovie can do no wrong. Lovie could kick a baby all the way down the field while carrying a puppy on a spike and they would find some excuse for him.

There is not one single reason to think that Lovie is a better coach than Schiano was or even Morris before him yet you will hear excuses after excuses for Lovie. The whole Schiano fiasco, which was started by the local media and highly fueled by them, divided the fan base pretty badly. The anit-Schiano group was very vicious in their attacks and would bully anyone that did not agree with them. It got to a point where the mods in the subreddit had to step in and implement rules on name calling and whatnot. We had threads started where anyone that supported Schiano was likened to a domestic abuse victim. It was really bad and an embarrassment to our fan base. When it was all said and done the anti-Schiano group had run off anyone that did not have a pitchfork.

What is left now of the fan base are the anti-schiano people who begged to get Lovie. Now that they have him, and he sucks, they are making excuses like a baker makes bread. No, this season with Lovie was not better than Schiano's second season. Only those who had a personal hatred for Schiano think that. Anyone who can think logically knows that last season was much much worse in every aspect.
