Advice wanted: My boyfriend moved in, and I want to like it but I don't

Lol you are not alone. I’m 29, my husband and I have been together for going on 9 years, married almost 2. We lived together here and there over the years, bought a house. He now works from home exclusively due to Covid, I had a bunch of major knee surgeries so I also was home for some time but working remote. I thought I was crazy going into the field (sales) with a wound vac and crutches, but I needed to get away and felt awful. We have a smaller home close to the city which was perfect at first, until covid. Then it got to the “I swear to god if you come into my office one more time when I’m doing my eyelashes it will be your funeral.” On the flip side, I have accidentally interrupted his meetings. I’ve definitely gotten the Michael Scott “I will kill you” look a few times. We are now actively looking for a bigger home, we do have two separate office spaces but also have two separate bedrooms to use if necessary and it’s no hard feelings if someone sleeps somewhere else. It’s no love lost to need space, have a routine, have boundaries, but talk about it to get on the same page. You have to compromise, but it’s what you sign up for.
