AFI Awards Top 10 Movies: ‘A Quiet Place’, ‘Eighth Grade’; ineligible ‘Roma’ Scores Special Honor

It did mesh pretty well though. I said I personally don’t think Black Panther should have a spot on that list. I said I think BlackKklansman is a better film. The rankings and the placement of the movies is an objective way for me to try and gauge which ones I enjoyed more but that isn’t necessarily indicative of their quality. Solo is ranked above both of those and i don’t think it’s a better made film but I had more fun with it. BlackKklansman, in my opinion, is much better directed, written, acted, shot, and a better quality film overall. I had lots of fun with Black Panther but comparing the two on a filmmaking level, they aren’t that close in my opinion.

I don’t see what’s odd about that, it just seems like you’re taking it personally that I don’t think Black Panther is a top ten movie this year.

And I overreacted, you are calm but your list of questions made this seem less like a conversation and more like an interrogation.
