Blank had an 18 or 19 game winstreak or something (individual games, not matches), much of that was coming in as a sub for Peanut after getting to watch game 1 and see the enemy pathing/tactics in the coaches room with Kkoma. He'd then implement SKT's strats like a textbook, which allowed SKT to win especially with Faker playing well. I personally thought Blank was overrated during this winstreak, he had some decent games but he was mostly reacting instead of being proactive, which is a big difference. His best games during this period were on Zac, a champion that sort of counters Blank's lack of proactivity on the map.

Peanut I think was a bit unlucky. Meta changed which sucked for him, SKT maybe weren't the right fit either. I still think SKT should have stuck by him more, his form dipped as did his confidence and SKT kept subbing in Blank who made the team look alot more stable during this period, tough choice for the coaches (more mechanically gifted but mentally questionable Peanut vs solid but boring Blank). But I think if Blank wasn't there Peanut would have eventually played through the bad form and come good again (same thing has happened at Gen G where he started off looking bad but now looks a key team player because they stuck by him). Being subbed out and probably told off dented his confidence.
