They will do something that is extreme. It's called political capital. They passed Obamacare without a single token Republican vote. 100% opposition. Zero compromise.

That could have just as easily been gun control. Or Abortion. Or whatever.

They didn't care that they would lose the next election. They know Republicans don't do anything when we win. We sit around and wait to lose. They accept later losses and spend their capital on their agenda.

So this time/next time (whenever) it will be something. Further socialization of medicine. Wealth tax. Ban cars. Ban guns. Whatever. Who cares.

If they get a super-majority (especially in the current era where I'm honestly not sure the voting is legit anyway. They won 2020 after they burned half the cities in the US) they will pass whatever they feel like and worry about the consequences later.
