BBC hit with 115 complaints after Father Ted creator compares transgender children to ‘Nazi experiments’

I'm going to agree on the side of caution. While we can have a sensible discussion, more times than I can count have open debates been used as a platform for hatred. There are people who pick a fight because they want to, hence ruling with an iron fist becomes the preference.

What treatment boils down to is suffering. You have a patient before you saying they're in pain and a meditation that has proven to alleviate that pain. Regardless of age, background or personal beliefs you must stand beside ending that suffering. To do otherwise is both cruel and morally wrong.

When you are a child before puberty everyone treats you basically the same. You can play dolls or action man nobody really cares. Whenever you hit the age of 11 that's when you get treated differently, and for some kids it is like brushing a dogs hair the wrong way. They don't have the vocabulary usually to tell you what's wrong, but they still feel it.

Fortunately some teenagers can voice it and have the support to get treated, others live with the pain either until they can't take it anymore or live a half life.

But then again, everytime I post on trans issues I get down voted to oblivion. I guess I don't always agree with the community! But life goes on
