They didn’t handle it in the best way. But I think their frustration is justified. I also think that if three hours makes that much of a difference— again that’s on you. You own the dogs. With mine I would be explicit about exactly what she can handle and what she can’t. We had a period where there was a profound difference between 6 and 7 minutes alone. I was aware of it and would not have put another person in a situation to deal with the difference. Now she’s good for 6 hours but I wouldn’t put another person in a situation to care for her unless they’re a professional. She’s probably fine for 7 or 10 hours, but unless the other person knows the situation, is a professional, and agrees to a very specific time frame I wouldn’t ask it of them
