AITA For demanding a daily hour of “me time” ?

NTA. This post hit home. We have twins, I'm a SAHM and we had help for the first 6 months. After that, since the babies were older, I was taking care of my kids and my husband would come at 7 pm from work. To minimize the time that I was alone with 2 babies, I adjusted the schedule of the babies so we were all awake only at 10:30 in the morning. Their bed time used to be late but since I'm a night owl that worked better for me. I cooked only on weekends, husband ate lunch out. We bought food outside for dinner most days.

Even though I was a SAHM who was not cooking much, the cleaning dishes, doing laundry and taking care of 2 babies on my own during the day was very very hard. I decided I would go crazy after 4 months of this and I put my foot down and said I would take off one day on the weekend for myself - if I wanted to go out, I would, and husband was in charge of diaper changes or feeds even if I opted to stay home the whole time. It was my day and I would do whatever the heck I wanted to do. I had to do it because my husband was behaving like your BF and on the computer all the time. Some men will not lift a finger unless you make them do it.
