AITA for ditching my date and causing a scene?

I don't blame you for being apprehensive of people like this. I think my perspective is much different being a homosexual man as well. I know how a certain type of "nice guy" can be and it seems much much more prevalent for straight guys especially in the younger age bracket. I just wanted to avoid condemning and shaming people and relationships that are 100% not abusive by lumping them in with actual abusers and rapists that were being desrcribed in many inflammatory comments. I would rather 100 guilty creeps be defended then 1 innocent be called a rapist, but this where things become opinion. I do not by any means want to sound like I am telling people, especially those at the receiving end of this kind of abuse that they are wrong to give advice or share their perspectives. I was trying to suggest avoiding generalizations when some were calling all people older than a girl to be abusers. I think I came off completely wrong and ended up sounding like I was defending all creeps.
