AITA for eating cheesecake for breakfast?

YTA, I’m with your husband on this one. You have to lead by example. Breakfast time is when kids are coming down to and they can see you. Your examples of drinking or driving a car are moot, because that’s just the law. But even than, you lead by example, you do t get drunk I front of your kids. You drink responsibly. You can’t just say, I’m the parent, so what I say goes. That will come and bite you in the a** when they grow up. Because why on earth would do do what you say, when you don’t do as you say. If expect others to stick to agreements, you have to stick to them. If you want others to be on time, you have to be on time. It’s just not okay to want a certain behaviour from your kids, but you yourself can just do as you please. That makes a very unsafe parent for a kid. Someone they can’t really trust and feel safe with.
