I’m gonna go NAH. I feel for both sides in this situation. I personally don’t feel like what you did was wrong. I also would certainly hope everyone would take responsibility for their own mental health, here. You did what you needed. Your wife has every right to feel overwhelmed in this situation as much as you. Neither of you seem to have done anything wrong. On the other side of things, if you two have no way of caring for your own mental health or reacting intensely to expected news, you probably should not bring someone else into the world. Parenthood will bring you both a LOT of unexpected situations, and if you both cannot individually handle them, it’s probably not the best to have a child together. You BOTH planned this. It should be handled with a bit more grace.
