The situation is a lot more complicated, actually I was the one who the system was unfair towards because the other participants had 3 months to submit their work. I was only communicated of the existence of this scholarship one week before the deadline. Without my friend's help it would have been impossible to continue. I was intending to merge a genuine idea of mine with my friend's presentation skills but it became evident that I was too short on time to do so and my idea would be a little out of scope of the scholarship while my friends' was perfectly fitting. In the end what I did was rather than present the iPhone I presented "the iPhone than can fly and shoot lasers"
