Clinton wasn’t impeached in 2015. So don’t say these are the republican’s rules for impeachment. The Pelosi controlled house isn’t using those rules. If they were, it would:

have been voted on first;

Allowed the minority party to call witnesses;

Allowed trump to have an attorney present;

Had members of the press in the meetings, in addition to being televised, so that all can see who did what; or

Wouldn’t have reports of the meetings being selectively leaked,

That the democrats are not following precedent and taking the hearings behind closed doors demonstrates their willingness to obstruct justice and interfere with the 2020 election.
