AITA for Wanting My Future Children to Take My Last Name

NTA

Also my parents hyphenated their names, and gave it to my siblings and I. But they didn't change their last name they just kept their names and put them together for us kids.

He said something along the line that we’re family and it would be better for any of our future children that we both have the same last name (less confusion he said).

Growing up i was never "confused", i might've asked my parents why my last name was longer than everybody else's but i wasn't confused, and didn't really care.

And honestly i lie having two last names. In a way it makes me feel a little unique, and side note i live in an english speaking country, and both my parents are from South America, so my last names aren't "normal" per se; but i still don't care.
