AITA for yelling at my brother, who has cancer?

NTA - you said what needed to be said, your brother was the one who was out of line and has no right to try and discipline your children.

However your brother doesn’t have cancer, he had cancer and he had successful treatment. From memory although the relapse rates for ALL are something like 10-15%, relapses most often occur shortly after treatment finishes or the immediate years afterwards.

Appreciate different countries do things differently but my nephew also finished his treatment for ALL when he was about 5, his checkups finished when he was 11 and he was completely discharged. It was really shocking to me to read ‘ALL never goes away’, I’ve never that before. Is that something his doctors said or is that from your mum?
