Why I am discouraged about disclosure

I live in the U.S. I work in a hospital. Half the people coming into the trauma center at night are black people who have been beaten by the police for being black. The emergency room is constantly full of people who can't afford health insurance or whose crappy insurance covers nothing so they avoid treatment for minor problems till they become life threatening. Anyone with an education not paid for by rich parents has student debt two or three times the size of their mortgage that they will not live long enough to pay off. Millions of non violent people are in prison for using drugs that should not be illegal, where they are used for slave labor and assaulted by the actual violent criminals they are forced to live with. I have to keep a loaded firearm to defend my home against break ins. I hope my bigoted white neighbors don't figure out I'm married to an indigenous person and don't believe in Qanon
