I Am Senator, Doctor, and Presidential Candidate Rand Paul, AMA!

Senator, with respect, simply not giving them arms is not going to help. They've already seized our humvees and other military equipment and we cannot do anything about that now. We need an actual plan to wipe out their strong hold and their propagandists. I ask you respectfully to take the following under consideration.

  • The Kurdish people in northern Iraq need a US President that is ready to help them establish Kurdistan. I've spoken with many US soldiers- one of whom is my cousin and now veterans affair director for his respective Congressman- that speak very highly on the Kurdish population. They are very much a pro US group and they a President that understands we will not defeat ISIS unless with support the creation of Kurdistan. This would also serve us well because we could establish a very large military base here.

  • The US should continue to place sanctions on Turkey for their undeniable role in aiding and embedding ISIS in such a blatant manner and they should not be lifted until Erogdan's opposition party has taken power. This man see's himself as being the next Hitler of the Middle East, and is no ally of the US.

  • If you become Commander and Chief, and decide to send ground troops back in, please listen to the generals that all recommended at least 400,000-500,000 ground troops and have a exit strategy that is will not create another vacuum of power.

  • Lastly, I'd like to see a Presidential Candidate with the stones to it talk about the necessity for indicting Dick Cheney on treason and crimes against humanity. In 1994 then Secretary of Defense Dick Cheney, before having a vested stake in Halliburton and the billions it would make in profits from the war contracts issued to them and it's then subsidiary KBR, openly talked about how foolish it was to invade Baghdad, and even predicted this entire mess unfolding just as it has today.

President Bush was politically outwitted and manipulated by Dick Cheney and Paul Wolfowitz. Those two men are directly responsible for the mess in Iraq and for placing American taxpayers on the hook for trillions of dollars. Americans are clearly so vexxed about powerful men getting away with murder at their expense that they are willing to vote a clown into office. That should be a major denotation to you, Mr. Senator, that we need a President that is serious about enforcing the rule of law in this country, and somebody that understands the importance of restoring America's faith that no man is too powerful to be held accountable for his actions.
