AMD Radeon RX 6500 XT Review: A Bad, Really Bad Graphics Card

If you put $50 away every month since the 3060 was announced, you'd have enough to buy one right now at the crazy ebay markup. Since your GPU still works, you could have saved slower.

Or maybe if you consider that $400 was the price you'd have to pay anyway, you'd only have to put away a bit more than $20 to make up that difference.

Yeah, it sucks and no one wants to pay twice as much; but if your GPU breaks, you either have to shell out for a secondhand card at a huge markup, buy a prebuilt for substantially more than that, or just go without until the market recovers. Or maybe buy some nilla wafers and thermal paste to try and make your own. I don't know exactly how GPUs are made, but I presume "nilla" wafers are not the kind they use.
