America, I sincerely ask you, do you really want this person to be the next President of The United States?

Your wish came true.

I disagree. I think at the moment most politicians are motivated primarily by the material benefits that come with the condition of having power and/or the desire to satisfy the need to control others.

The problem isn't that he misunderstands the problem, or that you misunderstand him. The problem is, quite simply, that the problem has not been correctly defined. When we figure out the problem that needs solving, only then will we be able to solve it.

I'm glad you are able to understand an important part of my opinion. I think perhaps the system in place has been preserved and these true definitions obscured intentionally by the kind of predatory people I described earlier. It would make only make sense for these people to feel the need to preserve their power. Because it's theirs.

I wouldn't want to have something that I feel I have won and deserve (not to mention the pants shittingly lucrative nature of the trophy) taken away and/or corrupted by those I feel are undeserving of such a prize. Especially not if I viewed these people as subservient by nature. They would surely squander such a precious thing.

This leads us right back to your comment. The problem is that the kind of person described above and making our collective decisions currently would be by the given, true definitions a failure of a leader. They know this, hence the general obliviousness of many people.

No one wants to accept that that's probably the truth regarding our leaders because that would mean the people we chose to lead us are using the opportunity given to them by us to fuck us all in the ass because why the fuck not? Those who have accepted that this may be the case are invalidated or eliminated by design.

I can't help but be impressed by the will of these kinds of people.
