Americans of Reddit, what's something that America gets shit for that is actually completely reasonable in context?

Do I really have to point out to an American what is wrong with the US?

-Un-payable debt -Highest per capita prisoners -Zero effort to create new sources of income (renewable energy, legal pot, robotics, etc.) -Invading the Middle East for oil (Don't kid yourself. It's oil. Not terrorism.) -Constant job outsourcing -Spying on EVERYONE on the planet -Widest wealth distribution gap in the world -Government insisting on controlling everything on the Internet -Shitty education of all levels (except the prestigious, retardedly expensive Universities of course) -Horrible health care -Don't even get me started on the amount of police brutality seen over the last few years especially -Constantly bailing out banks that fail and screw the country over -World policing. After 9/11, the plan was ALWAYS going to be to invade seven countries in the Middle East -Corrupt Intelligence agencies smuggling drugs and then the justice system harshly punishing the drug users

The list goes on and on. And you might say that most countries face all the same problems. But the difference is you're supposed to be the greatest country in the world, to lead by example. Thats why the rest of the world hates on America. Because you're squandering all your potential.

Why do people think life is good? Because you have a roof and gas in your car and the latest smart phone? The problems are sub surface and you're all being conditioned, whether you know it or not, to be apathetic about all the problems you face. Why? Because you're easier to control that way and it creates less resistance for the people in charge to run the country, and the world, the way they want. The way that personally benefits them and their sponsors. But of course you're just gonna say I'm crazy and that I think the world is out to get us and you'll down vote me and go on thinking that life is just fine. And it is. For now. But by the time it's not, it'll be too late to do anything about it.
