Some of the FDS people are definitely insane. But the reason they are the way they are is legitimate. The girl in OPs post is manipulative, but I've see the reverse WAY more often.
Guys manipulate women all the time. Abuse, be it emotional, physical, psychology, is normalized in a lot of cultures. I grew up in that shit and didn't even realize how emotionally abusive I was until I was in my late 20s. I have a talent for picking out a weakness in a person and making a joke out of it. I always felt like it was fine because it was just a joke, and people never REALLY pointed out how fucked up I could be. Men and women both would laugh, and usually after say something like, "you're horrible". But they laughed, so I thought it was okay. Alcohol was often involved.
I remember a girl I briefly dated. She worked at a place that notoriously only hires attractive women. On our first date, I described her mannerisms as "Manish". She had put a lot of effort into her outfit, she really wanted to impress me. I blew that up early on. I didn't really even like her, zero plans to see her again. I thought the date went horribly. Got home, she sent me a long text telling me what a great time she had and that she was looking forward to seeing me again. What I should have done was let her know that I wasn't really interested and move on. I didn't. She was hot and I wanted to fuck her. So I played along for a few months and used her emotionally and physically. I made her believe she had a future with me. Then I dropped her as soon as I found someone I actually liked.
I'm the reason subs like FDS exist. I was a piece of shit. I see that now and I'm deeply ashamed of how I acted when I was younger. That girl didn't deserve what I did to her. That's an example, but I did stuff like that a lot. And I know A LOT of men who are either similar to me or worse.
Anyway. I think the women on FDS we're made that way because of people like me. I don't blame them. Not to say that awful women don't exist too, they definitely do. But that's not the focus of this post.
