Are you talking about the protestors? Because yes, they are in it for themselves and themselves only. They don't give a flying fuck about the rise in domestic abuse and the terrible unemployment. They're in it to spread misinformation and lies. They're in it because they think getting a haircut or going to the beach is essential.

If you're saying that the state lockdowns are selfish, what about Italy, Spain, Germany, or any other country that imposed a national lockdown? It's clear the lockdown is working because cases and deaths in those countries are going down. Sometimes the need for personal liberty is second to keeping the public safe and healthy. These dumbass protestors need to understand that. If the governments caved in and totally reopen too soon, cases and deaths will spike! The exact same thing happened with Spanish Flu. Lockdowns being lifted early resulted in the second wave being much, much worse than the first.
