Predominantly solo player here, and I enjoy it more that way. Can’t stand gambit for several reasons. 4 stacks are a major issue, in particular the ones that stack-dodge in order to match against solos. Invasions are annoying, especially with the new bounties that require you to stay alive. Heavy ammo is far too prevalent, it makes the pvp side of things far too much like CoD where you can get cross mapped by an MG or an RL (I’m on pc if that matters). Another thing is that it is inherently sweaty. I can relax in crucible and still have fun, but that’s not really possible in gambit. If I’m not playing every round like a speed run, I’m being a detriment to my team. If I’m not killing stuff as fast as possible, then I’m hurting my team. Essentially, it all comes down to one simple reason: there’s no way to play it casually like you can with other game modes.
