Well... all they aspire to do is troll anyone left of them, because conservative media has successfully convinced them that conservative policies and how they affect citizens is irrelevant compared to contradicting the left. This is why there are so many idiots out there who literally believe that trickle-down economics works despite there being decades of evidence contrary to it, or that Donald Trump would somehow get Jesus Christ's vote.

Literally, the fact that their hypocrisy is so obvious is a FEATURE of conservatism at this point; does it irritate anyone who isn't a conservative? Yes? Good enough for them.

It's identity politics at its worst, but it's also energizing those on the left to go out and vote and as they get more stupid (like these people who are out protesting nothing) it probably isn't attracting tons of rational people.
