Computer Science Admission Requirements: Calculus AND a Certification?!

Have any of these comments looked on the WGU admission page for CS recently? It says here: https://www.wgu.edu/online-it-degrees/computer-science.html

Students must be able to use key calculus principles, rules, and applications while in the B.S. Computer Science program. In addition to the general program admission requirements for College of IT bachelor’s programs, students must demonstrate math readiness through successful and verifiable completion of a pre-calculus, calculus, or higher-than-calculus math course from an accredited post-secondary academic institution or WGU-approved third-party provider.

I may be wrong, but according to the admissions page of WGU, it seems like your mentor is correct. You need to fulfill the College of IT requirements AND have a pre-calculus course or higher math. This changed recently, so that may be why everyone is saying you only need a calculus requirement.
