Get a TI-84 calculator. Get it second hand and save some cash. I got mine for $50 off FB marketplace. It is crucial to have as they do not check your calculator or make you clear programs. Then just make sure you have a couple good ones. This helps tremendously, but you must still study. I just used the preassessment, googled any topics that weren’t clear(hawk fucking sucks). I also did all the practice tests as well to make sure i was set. Lastly, take every word problem from the preassessment and figure out how to solve each type(Interest, rate/dist/time, etc). There were about 8-12 on my assessment so this helped me greatly. Look on reddit for the tips and pointers you need. I was in the same exact situation you are in accept worse. I had failed it twice already because for some reason my brain and algebra have always hated each other. So on my final attempt i literally had 10 days in the term left and completed this course. This course totally fucked me mentally on my degree path. You are not alone and buckle up and knock the god damn course out.
