Perhaps it's not that people here have egos, but that you are insisting in devaluing yourself. All these sarcastic responses you're giving to other people on a trauma subreddit sound like self hate to me.

There are tests to determine giftedness. Passing the test means you're gifted. Being gifted doesn't mean you'll ever be Einstein. That comes down to how you use what you've got, and other external circumstances that are out of your control. Some people who achieved incredible things like the one you mentioned and more, could have not done so had things gone differently in their life (ex. Born in a poor country).

I suggest you stop invalidating other people and appreciate your intellect more :)
