Has anyone here ever tried to confront a "double" that they've seen?

I went to this boarding school in state and until I saw this forum I had no idea that things like this happened to regular people. It should be noted that I (very often) have "memories" of things that haven't happened yet, and frequently when I'm across the house I think "this person just skyped me" and am right- even if the person in question doesn't regularly skype me.

At my boarding school, there were two teachers, one named Mr. McAllaway and the other named Mr. MacAllaway. As if this wasn't weird enough, they both taught Botany classes. And if that wasn't strange enough they both looked VERY similar. Until seeing their names spelled out and finding out one was from Oregon and the other from New York, I thought they were identical twin brothers. They weren't.

That boarding school was weird though. There was also one time when my mother came to visit me while she was driving her green Taurus- I remember it well because her license plate was 025 KWE and she had one of those I love New York bumper stickers on it despite the fact we lived nowhere near New York. One day she came inside and informed me she brought me a care package but accidentally left it in the car. So I went out to get it, key in hand, and I knew none of the cars that were regularly in the parking lot were the same so I found the one that looked like it. To make sure it was hers, I checked the bumper and sure enough, the sticker was there, with the corner folded over slightly like I remember. So I put the key in the lock and it worked. However, when I looked inside? That was definitely not my mother's car. Frantic, I slammed the door shut and double-took the bumper. The sticker was there and the license plate was the same-- except that it was a 025 KWE license plate from a neighboring state.

That place was messed up and I'll never understand it. On another topic there was a room on the fifth floor that five girls stayed in all year because people kept leaving. One got expelled, two went home due to sickness, I went home (I stayed there as well) for money reasons and one other girl went home out of homesickness. No one else stayed in the room the rest of the year because everyone believed it was cursed.

That place was super messed up.
