Anyone mind sharing a similar experience as the Teen Moms or Teen Mom kids?

My grandma got married at 15 and promptly had 4 kids. Divorced when my mother was young because he was an alcoholic. Remarried and had two more kids. Divorced and remarried again, but no more kids. My mom got pregnant at 17, so her and my dad quickly got married. My older sister got pregnant at 15 and turned the baby over to my parents to raise. Got married within a year and quickly had three more kids.

I was determined to break the cycle of teen parenthood. At 19 I was getting married because my husband and I were living together and our families were freaking out about it. We were planning on getting married sometime, but we weren't planning on kids anytime soon.

I was on the pill, but I had been sick and taking antibiotics so we had been using condoms. We had one break, and I was a little freaked out but this was before plan B was a thing so there wasn't much I could do.

I found out five days before the wedding that I was pregnant. I was so upset. I thought I had done everything right, and still ended up pregnant. I started watching because I wanted to see what their stories were. The episodes when they admitted to using nothing annoyed me.
