Why are Jungian analysts older?

Therapist here. Yea, I’d say those of us who are super into theory are few and far between. That’s just my experience. A lot of therapists really focus on evidence based techniques that they think can help clients better. But personally, I needed a deeper more theoretical approach to the psyche to heal myself. I kinda wish therapy programs focused more heavily on theory. I think some good therapists are amazing philosophers who have incredible outlooks on the human experience, society, suffering, etc. some of are looking for that. Whereas, I have some friends and past clients who would have literally zero interest in what Jung would think of their emotional experience. They just wanna be heard and have a helping hand to process.
