Why are people referring to their husband and wives as "partners" ?

Hey man let’s get lunch. Sure I grabbed us a couple hoagies Hoagies? Yea You mean sandwiches right? Yea same thing Bro I don’t understand why you use this soft gendered language when referring to sandwiches. They have always been sandwiches and just because some crazy person from Philly (I heard they’re all on drugs there! Very bad) called it a hoagie on the internet doesn’t mean you can UPEND DECADES OF CULTURE YOU WOKE FUCKING BLUE HAIRED LEFTISTS KEEP TRYING TO JAM YOUR AGEN… o hey this is pretty good. It’s just a word no need to attach extra baggage to it. Seems almost as silly as getting upset over what someone called a sandwich.
