Game development is a meritocracy, just like sport. The reason why black men dominate the NBA is because they are the best at it, not because there is a quota system. So why should there be a racial quota system in gaming? Why should white men dedicate their talent to making games with PoC main characters? The people who make a game can decide what race they want their main character to be. If a white man writes and designs a game, he can make his main character white.

If PoC want to see more PoC characters in gaming, then PoC need to start making their own games.

No one should be entitled to representation, just like white men aren't entitled to representation in the NBA.
