Argentina Legalizes Abortion, a Milestone in a Conservative Region

If you were at least middle class and lived in a major city, getting a safe but illegal abortion from a good doctor at a well equipped private clinic has always been somewhat easy. I know several women I could ask for a good reference. But Argentina also has tremendous inequality, so the poor women who don't have the money to pay these private doctors and can't afford the time off to travel to the city get dangerous back alley abortions from people you wouldn't trust to pull a wisdom tooth. This has been known to everyone for decades, no matter who you talk to, there's no generalized delusion about reality. This is just the end of a facade imo.
