I have only ever heard people point out "how come Asians only hang out with Asians" around the GTA and complaints from the white people (that don't have an accent, honestly a lot of immigrants are from Europe these days) that "immigrants don't assimilate into Canadian society". When my mother's uncle first Immigrated to USA, he gave up a life of luxury and sent most of his earning to my mother's father so they wouldn't starve to death, and this is common among Chinese culture. I doubt an Asian women who has a choice in the dating market would get a downgrade, i'm not saying this because i'm racist, but North American culture is individualistic and cold. If my mother had a white or black uncle, then i wouldn't even be alive right now lol!

Lol yes, I watched many Wong Fei Hung movies as a kid. Nobody points out anything. Chinese males in my family aren't feminine or small. I am the shortest among my dad/uncles/cousins and I am 5'10. My dad is 6ft, cousins 6'1 and 6'2 respectively. There is no shortage of tall, not super skinny Chinese guys these days. Especially now that the northern mainlanders joined the numbers of overseas born Chinese.
