Aviation Maintenance Support needed

If a company requires a specific training beyond an A&P for an entry level position, and isn't willing to pay for you to take those courses, then that means they aren't looking for an entry level mechanic, they are looking for an experienced mechanic, but only want to pay entry level wages. I'd steer clear, since if they want you to pay for your own training, then they also probably want you to already own all the tools you will need, as well as anything else they can convince you to pay for (parts, building maintenance, etc).

As a general rule of thumb, a job should be making you money, not costing you money. If an employer is so terrible that they will make you pay for the training they need you to have, I doubt they would be willing to cover anything else a new guy needs, such as tools, or on the job training.
