I would love to see them bring back Tea Leoni (Julie Mott) from the first movie. I was disappointed she wasn't featured in the sequel because I liked the dynamics between her and the two cops.

Have her be a threatened Senator for New York whom is being targeted by far-right lunatics. Marcus and Mike reunite again in order to protect Julie again. Both haven't talked to one another since Syd (Gabrielle Union) died in a car accident so tensions are on the air but because Julie fully trusts the two men, they decide to pair up again to protect Julie from the far-right mad men wanting to kill her off so a neo-nazi running as a Republican might win as the Senator of Florida.
