No law system is perfect. Not will it ever be. A healthy society will update their laws and let them evolve over time.

You are making a big jump by me supporting the law system of today to me supporting slavery. I find that beyond offensive. Espically if you knew me.

I won't insult you just because we are disagreeing on something. Because even if you don't believe me. I think the only thing above having a lawful society is having rational debate.

My personal feelings with this is vandalism don't help. It drives in wedges. Even if that vandalism is minor.

I doubt anyone only started hearing of this because of the vandalism. The day of tar and feathering people who done us wrong is in the past with legalized slavery(for most the world). As it should be.
