software wise i use BIAS FX and REAPER to record and get all my tones.

this stuff gives me all the versatility that i want and need while keeping the physical space used to a minimum (plus it's pretty cheap too)

maybe what might help you is organising it first. then getting the equipment that you'll deffinately use together and selling the rest.
