Benjamin Netanyahu ridiculed over appearance at Paris - He attended the Paris march despite Hollande's objection

It's not at all talking about the I/P conflict. I'm questioning if you know enough about I/P to understand. Hamas is an Islamist Jihadist organization that carries out vicious attacks against Jews in the name of Allah. Much like the people of ISIS and Al-Qaeda. There is a difference between condem and criticize. The statement is not at all severe enough for you to call it condemning. It just stands to show that the French are frustrated by the conflict and wish to recognize a government which is half led by Islamist Jihadist. This is an understandable mistake for a country that may not be as familiar with the intents of such idealists, seeing as they are located far away from them geographically. However, after attacks by the same kind of idealists, it makes sense to point out to the world (that wanted to recognize the state of Hamas) that those are the kind of people they were supporting.

I certainly know more than enough to understand. I'm questioning if you are aware that islamic extremist is NOT homogenous. Al quada and Hamas are not the same organization, and they have different (equally reprehensible) agendas.

Is your entire argument based on patronizing both me and the nation-states of Europe? Do you think we haven't been paying attention as Oslo fell apart over the course of 20 years, or aware of the rise of sunni-militant goals? Al Qaeda, Hezbollah, Hamas, and ISIS are all separate groups with separate agendas, and they each alter the geopolitical makeup of the middle east differently. If you think that just because they are all Islamic extremists they have identical political goals, you are sorely mistaken.

His host? Just because he is the French Prime Minister doesn't mean he owns the synagogue or has anything to do with the Jewish community, which was very glad for his speech and showed their support if you were watching the speech. "inherently implying that France is not capable of being home to Jews. " You're assuming he meant it like that. Don't assume. Telling the French Jews in the context of rising antisemitism -that no matter what level the oppression against them rises to - they have a home in Israel, is not a diss on France. Only a very insecure French PM would take it like that. It is a realistic assurance.
