Bernie Sanders’s health-care plan is the biggest attack on the rich of this campaign "We now know it would. We also know that, by Sanders' accounting, the plan would actually put more money into the pockets of all but the very richest Americans."

On top of that- worse care. single payer- longer lines, longer waits

All wrong.

Canada, Germany and Britain are all ranked higher for healthcare quality then the US in many studies.

http://www.businessinsider.com/best-healthcare-systems-in-the-world-2012-6 http://time.com/2888403/u-s-health-care-ranked-worst-in-the-developed-world/ and there are plenty more if you go and look at it, America is often ranked worst out of all the "first world" countries and even below a few third world ones.

The longer lines and wait times are greatly exaggerated

We have slightly longer wait times on average because more people have access to healthcare, but they are not vastly longer then American wait times for minor issues, maybe an hour or to more for minor issues at a clinic, you are NOT waiting around for days or even hours with a broken bone or some other serious injury, same as if it's the US, if you need treatment for something life threatening or something that makes it so you are unable to move or work you will get it right away,.

Now seeing a family/personal doctor or a specialist for a non threatening illness or injury , the wait times vary but on average the wait time in Canada is two weeks to go and see a family doctor/specialist after making an appointment, some places are again low as week or even a few days, some places like Rural Saskatchewan can be 3 weeks+, doing the research the same exact thing exists in the US, wait times for some areas are days, some are weeks, and they varying by occupation but the average wait time in the US is slightly less then two weeks, again you aren't waiting months to see a doctor here in Canada, the wait times are either on par with the US or maybe as long as a week more for specialized doctors, people aren't dying in droves because they are waiting for care, certainly a far smaller percentage of the population die from any possible wait time issues, then those who die in the US from lack of care.

Now for things like Cancer, we have similar wait times, I searched this up awhile back the sources are on google. I found the Average wait time for Cancer treatment in Canada is around 39 days, The Average wait time in the USA is 37 days, It does vary greatly place to place, California for example was longer then Ohio because of the difference in population, Same with Saskatchewan and Ontario.

The cost, Americans already right now as Im typing this pay more in taxes then Germany Britian and Canada on healthcare, on top of that the average american pays that much again for private insurance making it so the Average American pays twice as much for healthcare then the British, Canadians or Germans do, or any one else in the world, Americans top out the list on the highest amount of their income spent on healthcare, both percentage and raw numbers.

Anyone saying they are "getting fucked" either doesn't know how much the current healthcare system in the US is fucking every single person in the US including the rich, It's the single biggest scam that exists for American It costs you in taxes and out of pocket four times what you spend on your massive military budget both in taxes and personal expenses.
