Best breed of dog for protection?

All I was saying is that someone was acting like I only asked about protection like I wouldn’t care about the dog as a companion/pet to be loved.

I wasnt just asking about breeds for an aesthetic. I was asking because I don’t know much about different breeds. I def wish I hadn’t posted here because people are so hostile for literally no reason. Even you saying “even if you don’t like it” is just so abrasive but… why? I asked about particular breeds that are known for being protective, which is a thing. Sorry you didn’t like my question but at least I know now to stay away from this sub. I can just ask my vet next time I see her, at least she won’t go off on me about how I’m looking for a dog for the wrong reasons and I shouldn’t get one because I’m used to having a cat. I am capable of caring for animals besides cats and learning their different needs. What a silly assumption that I shouldn’t even attempt it.
