First you’d think a do-it-all can was a good idea, then a bunch of people will say to buy at least caliber specific cans. But you’d gawk and think you know better, so you’d buy a multical can that will go on all your hosts, after all you can only shoot one thing at a time. Then it arrives and you get a little more informed about the nuances about cans, mounting options, etc. and slowly realize it has too many trade-offs, and changing out mounts for all your different hosts is a giant PITA.

The wisened up person you have now become, you go and buy cans specific for each caliber and/or host and your first expensive can that does nothing well sits around reminding you of the money and time you wasted that you can’t recuperate.
