For a couple of months while we were waiting for our house to be built, we lived in a super low cost condo. We soon found out it had a guest living in it, which we named Stewart. I wanted to do a nice catch and release, cruelty free trap. But as it turned out, Stewart was too big to fit into the traps we bought. Eventually we gave up and bought the snap traps, as it was clear he was just pushing the trapping box around. It was sad to find Stewart in there - I even cried a bit. But then we found out Stewart had a wife. So we put out another trap. This was at the height of the pandemic, so I was working from home on a Zoom meeting. Stewart’s wife climbed into the trap head first while I watched in absolute horror.
