Bitter and jaded people of Reddit; Why so cynical?

Because humans are stupid and selfish. We all live on a giant spinning rock that circles a ball of fire amongst billions of other solar systems and galaxies and potentially multiple other universes. We exist solely to reproduce on this planet, nothing else. that is why love and lust are our most driving forces in society. They say it's similar to a cocaine high and it is. Nothing else that we do as humans feels like that feeling. But yet today relationships are disposable and marriage is a thing of the past. There is no trust with tinder out there and today's generation no longer want to put the effort into keeping a relationship alive or dealing with negative feelings that sometimes come with it so they drop it and move on to the next best thing. People will rationalize selfish decisions to attain their own happiness and rarely sacrifice for others. that is why trust is a dangerous thing in this world. Also, Politics are nothing but a corrupt power struggle which can be ruled by multi million dollar companies/corporations. Politicians say they are for the people but they're actions are only a chess move for there sides position of power. So when will great change in this world ever come? Religion is another cause of more bullshit in this planets history. Up there with money and love, religion is a tool used by people to create a cult following and brainwashing people to support a cause which an organization has and needs a public backing to accomplish its goals to attain power/rule. So where is God with all the suffering in the world? All the torture, beheadings, starvation, rape, homelessness, disease, mental illness, pain, and war. I don't know but I think people should reevaluate how to attain some happiness out of this life without having to destroy each other for it. I guess we are still a work in progress as a species.
